N * vCore CPU

A modern server motherboard has 4 CPU 'sockets' [ slots ] . That means they are equipped with 4 server grade CPUs [ processors ]. Each of these processors is made of several [ 8 to 28 ] 'mini' CPUs referred to as 'cores' or 'virtual' CPUs. So, an entry level server will have 32 'logical' or 'virtual' CPUs. Each VPS instance, will be allocated a preset number of 'virtual' CPUs.

N * GB Traffic Allowance

The amount of monthly data 'download' allowance. A page view or an email sent counts towards your data 'download' allowance.

N * GB ECC RAM

As with the CPUs a server motherboard will have several [ 2 to 24 ] memory 'sockets' [ slots ]. Each memory module is 32 GB in size. So, again, an entry level server will have at minimum 64 GB of memory. Each VPS instance, will be allocated a preset percentage of that memory.

N * GB Local 'LB' Storage

The capacity of your VPS 'virtual' hard drive. Local storage 'LB' [ load balanced ] means that your 'virtual' hard disk is on the same server, however is replicated across several physical hard drives.

N * IPv4 and IPv6 / * N Subnet

The amount of IP addresses allocated to your VPS instance. You get 1 x IPv4 [ the old type, IP address ] and 1 x IPv6 [ the modern type of an IP address ] /64 Subnet. A 'subnet' is a set of IPs. A /64 subnet has more, a load more than 64 IP addresses.

Note : Although we do not impose nor recommend the number of domains, databases, email addresses, and so on, that you may have in your hosting account, you should be aware that the limit would be dictated by the size of content you intend to store and that of the data allowance your hosting plan has.

Operating System

Ubuntu or AlmaLinux

Two of the most used and reliable 'unix' server OSs. As Windows there are many out there available, but unlike Windows they are developed by different software companies and therefore, the cost and purpose vary accordingly. Ubuntu and AlmaLinux are two of them. Theres also aditional options such us Cloud Linux and RedHat. However the use of those and any other optional software is subject to an annual or monthly [ or in a worst case scenario per user ] licencing fee that it is not set by us.

Software Stack

A minimum set of software packages installed on a server or hosting plan to allow seamless functionality of your online presence. LAMP [ Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP ] and/or LEMP [ Linux, Nginx, MySQL, PHP ] are the most prevalent ones. As with the Operating Systems any optional software stack is subject to same rules and licencing requirements. We cand install such different 'software stacks' on demand if required.

Backup and Storage

Although all our VPS Web Hosting plans content is triplicated across several hard disks, we also backup and store your VPS Web Hosting plan content daily, on separate storage media, with up to 5 days in areas retention. Just in case.

Server Security

In addition to the SSL encryption we install as standard on all Web Hosting accounts, a software firewall and antivirus package to protect your content against malicious attacks is also added on as an aditional layer of protection. Again, as with everything else there are optional packages here too, and also the same rules apply.

Note : Although we do not impose what type of software you may upload and use on our servers, any such upload would be checked for suitability and security.

Generically speaking, if you do not break any law, there should be none. However, on moral grounds [ at least ], you should not, and may not use our hosting infrastructure to promote hatred, bullying, discrimination [ regardless of the fact that you might feel entitled or justified to do so ] post messages [ or allow others to post ], that can be construed as calls to acts of rebellion or terrorism, or post and promote any content or conduit pertaining to pornography [ of any kind ].

None of those would be allowed nor tolerated. Should that be the case, your site and content would be deleted, it's content submitted to any law enforcement agency if required, and your account terminated. No exceptions whatsoever. Also, to protect the integrity of our ASN and IP Addresses pool, mail or cryptocurrency harvesting is a strictly prohibited use.
